How to Get Started

Call our office at (805) 722-2942 to schedule your one hour FREE new client consultation which are held Mondays.  Before your consultation, Chuck will conduct a brief phone interview with you before you are able to proceed with the free consultation.

When you schedule your consultation, you'll provide your credit card number to secure your appointment. As long as you don't cancel within two weeks of your scheduled time, your credit card will not be charged. If you must cancel within two weeks of your appointment, your credit card still won't be charged unless you fail to reschedule within 30 days. If you cannot keep your appointment, and you choose not to reschedule, your credit card will be charged $250.

We understand this policy of securing your appointment with a credit card may seem unique. So is our financial planning practice. We provide our very best service to those families who are serious about a long-term relationship with their trusted advisor.  We must secure your appointment time so that we will have enough advance notice to open the slot to a waiting family.

What to Do Prior to Your Financial Planning Consultation

About three days after scheduling your appointment, you will receive a Priority Mailer with a Personal Profile form and other important information that you will want to review prior to your meeting with us. We must have your completed worksheet returned to our office three days prior to your consultation either by mail, fax or electronic mail. The form should take you no longer than ten minutes to complete.

Feel free to call the office at any time if you need assistance completing your worksheet or have any questions at all. If you have any documents that my pertain to your primary concerns, please make sure we have those documents at three days before your meeting so that we can review them.

What to Expect During Your Financial Planning Consultation

On the day of your meeting, please expect to spend about an hour with us. We will discuss you and your family and what immediate and long term goals you hope to achieve. This meeting is less about details such as taxes and investments, and more about the lifestyle you hope to live.  The initial meeting has two purposes:

1. To identify whether there is a good fit between you and our firm; and
2. For us to learn what your needs are so we can identify if we are able to help you.

What Happens Next?

At the end of that meeting you'll have a good idea how we work and whether or not we offer what you're looking for. I will also know if there's a basis for a long-term relationship between us.  I've discovered that for you to be a successful and happy client, we have to be comfortable working together, which is why I turn down more clients than I accept.

Once we both agree we would enjoy working together, we will meet to complete an agreement and map out a plan for the upcoming 12 months.

If you're ready, please give us a call at (805) 722-2942
